Invasive species across campus
On our campus, you will unfortunately find many invasive species that have found their way onto campus. Some have even become well established in places and then require an active effort to reduce both their numbers and their influences on the natural and managed landscapes on and in the foothills surrounding campus. It is not the intent here to list every invasive species, but instead to highlight some of the more common invasive annual grasses, invasive annual and perennial herbs, and invasive trees you can find as you walk around our campus. By the end of this exercise, you will all be experts and winners with "Invasives" BINGO.
